Sally was mentioned in the 7 January 1777 will of her father, Robert Hunley, proved on 17 August 1778. “Item My Will and desire is that my four Daughters Sally Ann Mary Frances receive five pounds a piece after the death of my loving Wife or before if they should be in need.
