Elizabeth was mentioned in the 7 January 1777 will of her father, Robert Hunley, proved 17 August 1778. “Item My Will and desire is that all my Negroes after the decease of my loving Wife shall be allotted and equally divided amongst all my Children (Viz) John Thomas Elizabeth Salley Ann Mary and Frances”.
