The Richmond Enquirer of Friday, 28 October 1814 has the following item: “Died in this city, Miss Eliza Banks, aged 15, the eldest daughter of Major G. W. Banks of Tappahannock, the second daughter to die within a fortnight.” (Tyler’s Quarterly, Lyon G. Tyler, Ed., Kraus Reprint Co. Millwood, N.Y. 1978, Vol. XVI, p. 28.)
