“Peter Daniel settled in Stafford County, Virginia, where he left a distinguished line of descendants. He acquired 75 acres in Stafford on March 2, 1747. He was granted a patent on 800 acres in Louisa County, Virginia, September 20, 1751. He was a Justice in Stafford County from 1766 to 1770. He was a member of the Stafford Committee on Safety.”
