Elizabeth was mentioned in the 1814 will of her husband Vincent Gordon. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 22–23.]
On 20 February 1815, Elizabeth Gordon, James Montague, Thomas B. W. Gray, Gabriel Purkins and William Davis were bound in the penalty of $9,000 for Elizabeth Gordon’s administration of the estate of Vincent Gordon, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 115–116.]
On 17 April 1815, certificate of letters of administration of the goods, chattles and credits of Robert Gordon were granted to William Gordon with Susanna Gordon and Elizabeth Gordon his securities, bond of $1,200. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 149–150.]
