The will of Catherine Dyke of Essex County was undated. At present in health and of sound sense and meaning. To daughter Nancy Dunn one negroe woman (or girl rather) named Mary. To daughter Caty Sale £10. To two sons Jack and Vincent Dyke one negroe boy named Dennis[?]. To daughter Fanny Faulconer one negroe woman named Aggy. To daughter Polly Mahon one negroe girl named Tamson which she has at present in possession, after her death to her three children Caty Hill, Polly Hill, and Betsey Mahon. To son Vincent, two negroes by the name of Presley and black Lucy. I have given to my son Jack Dyke which he now has in possission negroe woman Jeanne[?] and her child named Ned. To son Vincent Dyke two negroe boys Bartly and Silas. My two sons Jack and Vincent Dyke to be executors. Signed Catherine her x mark Dyke. Witnesses: Edmund Jones, Thomas Clarkson.
