He was masculine [sic]; white; married; born 8 June 1869 (1870 overwritten); age 44 years, 8 months; occupation “lumber, farming & merchant”; born in Essex County, Virginia; father was Wm F Durham, who was born in Essex County, Virginia; mother was Adaline Durham, who was born in Essex County, Virginia; informant was T. T. Durham of Howertons, Virginia; attended by physician from 15 January 1914 to 22 February 1914, last seen on 22 February 1914; cause of death acute nephritis; contributory cause of death “followed typhoid fever”; buried on 24 February 1914 at Howertons Church, Virginia. 7. The said Eva Coleman Durham died 30 July 1961 in the City of Richmond. She devised to her four grandchildren Anne Coleman Durham, Susan Victoria Durham, Eleanor Durham Angell and William Errett Durham.
8. The said Pheida (Ida) Mertine Durham Covington survived her father but died intestate on 4 June 1916 survived by her husband John Austin Covington, now deceased, and one son Walter F. Covington, and thereafter the son died intestate leaving two children Walter F. Covington, Jr., and Lillian Covington Eisenhart.
