Child Drowned In Spa Creek.
[Special Dispatch to the Baltimore Sun.]
Annapolis, Md., July 11.—Gordon Trautwein, the 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Trautwein, was accidentally drowned in Spa creek here this morning. The lad, with a number of his companions, was playing at the foot of Conduit street and accidentally slipped off the abutment into the creek in a depth of six feet of water. the body was recovered by a number of young men, who saw the boy fall into the creek, five minutes after the accident, and although physicians and others worked diligently every effort at resuscitation was fruitless.
