In an undated petition, Barker Minter and Margaret his wife complained of Thomas Dobbins and Phebe his wife, which Phebe is administratrix of the estate of Thomas Gordon deceased. Thomas Gordon was an executor of William Gordon deceased. William Gordon had bequeathed to his daughter Margaret Gordon a slave named Bob. Margaret has now married Barker Minter. Thomas had loaned out the slave Bob. Barker Minter and Margaret his wife seek payment from Dobbins. Barker Minter and Margaret were married before 1784; Thomas Gordon died before October 1784.
