On 4 December 1834, a deed was executed between Polly Beazley of the first part, Henry T. Sale of the second part, and Arthur J. Sale of the third part. Whereas a marriage is intended between Henry T. Sale and Polly Beazley and whereas she has considerable property in slaves and land, for $5 paid by Arthur J.
