“Died. A great sorrow has come into the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Russell in the death of their sweet little babe Florence Helen, which occurred at 1:05 o’clock this morning—on September 29, 1892, aged 9 months and 14 days. She was taken sick with cholera infantum last Sunday, and has been very, very ill since, the pearly gates swinging open to receive her pure and innocent soul this morning. This is a severe trial to the parents, but we can assure them they have the heartfelt sympathy of the whole community. The funeral will take place from the Christian church at 2 p.m. Friday, and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. F. D. Pettit.” [Loose paper.]
