Barbara Crow was mentioned in the 21 December 1789 will of her father John Dunn, proved on 15 February 1790. “the rest of my astate to be devided into six Equal parts not before mentioned … I lend to my Dauter Barbra Crow one part of the six in deureing of her life and to her Children in Case she should have any but in Case she have none then her part to be Equally divided among the other five before mentioned” [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 14, pages 178–179.]
