An inventory and appraisal of the estate of Andrew Hardee was presented in pursuance of an order of 10 May 1710, done by Henry Reeves, Wm Grinall, John Armstrong and Edward ffaulkner. Total valuation £103.9.8. Presented by Ann Hardee, Administratrix, on 10 July 1710 and ordered recorded. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 13, page 349.]

On 21 January 1715/16, John Pickett and Anexander How of the County of Essex and parish of Southfarnum discharged Thomas Whealler of the County & parish aforesd of two alphons [orphans] estates now in ye hands of ye sd Thomas Whealer belonging to Andrew Hardee of this County decst. Signed Jno. Pickett, Alixa. his A mark How. Witnesses: Jno. Billups, John Griggs. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 14, page 513.]

On 23 January 1715/16, an inventory of the Orphans Estates belonging to Andrew Hardee decd. was made by Jon. Games, Martin Nall, Tho: Sthreshley, and Jno. Chamberlain. On the motion of Thomas Wheeler, ordered recorded on 20 March 1715/16. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 14, pages 513–514.]

On 20 March 1715/16, Thomas Wheeler presented an account of the estate of Andrew Hardee. Mentions “The rest of his Crop my wife pd to Some of Hardee’s Crdters.” Signed Tho Wheeler, Ann Wheeler. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 14, pages 511–512.]

On 2 July 1716, Joseph Hardee of Christ Church parish & County of Middlesex discharged Thomas Wheeler of the County of Essex & parish of Southfarnham the sum of £86.13 duely approved by arbitration appointed being the part of two orphens Estates belonging to Andrew Hardee decst. Signed Jos. Hardee. Witnesses: Thomas [damaged]dell, Francis his [damaged] mark [damaged]eadle. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 14, page 512.]

On 17 November 1725, a motion of Thomas Burk against Ann ffaulkner late Ann Hardee administratrix of the estate of Andrew Hardee deceased was dismissed, “she having confessed that she had twenty seven pounds Sterling in her hands more than returned in the Inventory—” [Essex County, Virginia, Order Book 6, page 355.]

On 17 November 1725, at the request of Col. William Robinson, Capt. Thos. Waring, surviving executor of Col. ffrancis Gouldman, deceased, gave him leave to bring suit on the bond for the administration of the estate of Andrew Hardee deceased, Thomas Burk paying for the fees of the said suit. [Essex County, Virginia, Order Book 6, page 355.]

On 16 February 1730/31, in a suit brought by Thomas Burk and Ann his wife against James Coghill and Ann his wife, administratrix of Andrew Hardee deceased, the defendants were given until the next court to file their answer. [Essex County, Virginia, Order Book 8, page 124.]

On 17 March 1730, Thomas Burk and Ann his wife, complainants, appeared in Essex County Chancery Court against James Coghill and Ann his wife, administratrix of the goods, chattels, rights and credits of Andrew Hardy deceased. James and Ann failed to file their answer and were fined five shillings to be paid to the complainants. [Essex County, Virginia, Order Book 8, page 137.]
