On 10 July 1967, an obituary in The Baltimore Sun stated:
Services set today for Margaret Bond
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Euler Bond, former grand matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Maryland, will be held at 11 A.M. today at the Mitchell-Wiedefeld funeral establishment, 6500 York road.
Mrs. Bond, who was 77 and lived at the Broadview Apartments, died Thursday at Union Memorial Hospital following a heart attack.
A retired principal and former teacher in the city public school system, she was the wife of the late Edington D. Bond, who was a civilian administrator at the Edgewood Arsenal and died in 1963.
A former matron of the Towson Chapter of the Eastern Star, she had served on the board of managers of the Wesley Home and was a former president of the United Methodist Women at Wilson Memorial Church.
A native of Baltimore, she was educated at what is now Towson State College and at the Johns Hopkins University.
There are no close relatives surviving.
