An obituary in The Baltimore Sun stated:
CALEB F. BOND.
The funeral of Caleb F. Bond, who died Monday night, was held yesterday afternoon from his home, 2500 East Fairmount avenue. Mr. Bond was engaged in the fish business. He was active in Republican work of the Sixth ward and in 1905 was his party’s nominee for the First Branch City Council from the ward. He was 42 years old. His widow, Mrs. Lena Bond, and a daughter, Miss Edna Myrtle Bond, survive him. A sister, Mrs. Samuel B. Chaffinch, and five brothers also survive. The brothers are Daniel M., William, Edington F., Albert and Alexander Bond. The Rev. James A. Dudley, of St. Paul’s Protestant Episcopal Church, had charge of the services. The pall-bearers were Vincent Cramer, David McCulloh, E. T. Foreman, Charles Thompson, William Felder and Andrew Laumann. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
