In an undated petition, orators and oratrices Buckner Townley an infant under 21 by John Miller his guardian and next friend, Sarah Townley, Mary Townley, Wm Guthrie.; and Ann his wife, Samuel Boulware and Joanna his wife complained that John Townley was the father of your orators and oratrices Buckner, Sarah, Mary, Ann and Joanna and that he died in August 1787. Additional paper dated 20 May 1793 states that John Townley’s widow Sarah died on 29 February 1792. Defendants Mann Townley and John Townley are the executors of John Townley’s will.
