We the subscribers hereby certify that on Sunday the 14th January, Mr Henry Davies being extremely ill but being of sound mind and memory called on us to take notice that the following was his will 1st That all his just debts should be first paid, and should there be enough left after paying his debts; he wished a negro girl Susan to be purchased and secured together with all the rest of estate (if any) to his wife Maria Davis during her life, and at her death to go to his children 2nd He further wished that Mr R J Muse and Mr George T F Lorimer should qualify on his estate and carry this his will into effect, Given under our hands this 19th day of Jany 1837.
