The estate of Richard Clarkson, deceased, in account with Joseph Clarkson, administrator, from 1825 to 1827 was ordered recorded on 20 July 1829. Mentions widow Susan L. On 14 December 1829, John Clarkson, Benjamin Clarkson, and Thomas Clarkson acknoweldged they had received their proportions from the estate of Richard Clarkson, and Susan L. Clarkson acknowledged she had “received the amt. due to her & her children.” [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, page 190.]
