On 15 February 1841, Henry B. Gouldman, John H. Gatewood and Absalom Gouldman were bound in the penalty of $4,000 for Henry B. Gouldman’s administration of the estate of McKenzie Gouldman. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 24, page 566.]
