On 21 October 1816, Martha Crow and William Crow were bound in the penalty of $500 for Martha Crow’s administration with the will annexed of the goods, chattels and credits of William Crow, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 330–331.]

The estate of William Crow, deceased, in account with Martha Crox, administratrix, from 1803 to 1819 was settled on 22 June 1819 by Wm. A. Garnett, Jackson Dunn, and James Croxton jr. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 19, pages 60–61.]

In an undated petition, orators and oratrices Robert Crow, Brooking Jeffries and Patsey his wife, and Henry Crow, Innis Crow and John Crow infants by Graves Burke their next friend and Martha Crow complained that Nancy Gordon late wife of John Gordon was Nancy Crow. Her father was John Crow. She died leaving brothers and sisters your orators and oratrices Robert, Patsey, Henry, Innis and John and one William Crow and Martha her mother.
