On 10 December 1810, John Rowzee, Wm. Noel, and Tk: Noel divided the land of Samuel Thomas, deceased, setting off 52 acres as a widow’s dower to Molly Thomas. A map of the lands is included. Ordered recorded on 18 February 1811. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 17, page 271a.]
The estate of Samuel Thomas, deceased, in account with Robert Hill, deputy sheriff for John Daingerfield committee administrator, from 1810 to 1812 was settled by Geo: W. Lee, D. W.
