Baynham, not of age, was mentioned in the 29 July 1814 will of his father, Robert Baylor, presented in court on 16 January 1815. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 88–89.]

On 10 June 1828, Baynham Baylor received his share of the estate of his father, Robert Baylor, as assigned by commissioners appointed by the court, submitted by William T. Brooke, executor. Includes a statement by Baynham’s mother, Ann Baylor, stating that the division meets with her approval. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 21, pages 276–278.]

The estate or Robert Baylor in account with Wm T Brooke, executor, for 1828 was ordered recorded on 17 November 1828. Includes “To Bonds with Interest allotted Baynham Baylor by commissioners to which he was entitled on the 13th April 1828 when he came of age”. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 21, pages 302–303.]

On 1 January 1836, William Baylor, Baynham Baylor, and Alexander T. Baylor, heirs of Robert Baylor, deceased, acknowledged that they had settled in full with Richard Baylor, administrator de bonis non with the will annexed of the said Robert Baylor, and had received their full proportions of the estate.
