Delilah Priddy was mentioned in the 14 August 1804 will of her grandfather, Edmund Noel, proved 19 September 1808. “…property that my daughter Betsey carried with her to Hanover County as she has now departed this life leaving three children by name Edmund N. Priddy, Nancy Priddy & Delilah Priddy…” [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 17, pages 88–89.]
The estate of Delilah Noel, deceased, in account with Edmund F. Noel, administrator, from 1828 to 1830 was ordered recorded 19 July 1830. Includes bequest to Reuben E. McDaniel in right of his wife Delia who was Delia Priddy. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 113–115.]
Delilah McDaniel was mentioned in the undated will of her grandmother, Betty Noel, proved 17 September 1832. “It is my wish and desire that Edmund N Priddy, Nancy Priddy, Delilah Priddy now Delilah McDaniel and John Richeson come in for no part of my estate—” [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 503–504.]
