Susan Elliott was mentioned in the 1 May 1837 will of her grandfather, William Younger, proved 20 May 1839. “1st I give to my five grand Children Susan Waller William David & Mary Eliott children of my daughter Polley Elliott one hundred Dollars to be equally divided between them & their heirs forever … 5thly all the balance of my Estate I wish my Executors hereafter named to sell & to pay my debts &c & the remainder part thereof to be divided in four equal parts & one fourth part to be given to my Daughter Polley’s Children above named one fourth to Susan Burke & the other fourth to Sally Munday & Elizabeth Stokes”.
