In this city, on the 7th instant, ELLA VIRGINIA, infant daughter of Dr. J. D. and Anna E. Pack, aged four months.

In this city, June 7th, after a short but severe illness, ELLA VIRGINIA, infant daughter of Dr. J. D and Anna E. Pack.
By this dispensation of Divine Providence, the parents are left to mourn the loss of their beloved and only child. A bud of uncommon promise, too bright and beautiful for earth, her pure spirit was called away to join the infant choir above, and sing everlasting praises before the throne. May her death be sanctified to her bereaved parents and God’s promises sustain them.

Was not of earth; a treasure but removed,
A bright soul parted for a clearer day,
Thine still in Heaven!
