The envelope’s return address is Mrs. Stanley R. Miller, 1006 Brandon Ave., B6, Norfolk, Virginia, and is addressed to Mrs. Albert Moore, 313 Suffolk Road, Baltimore, Md.
Dearest Edna:
I received your letter with the sad news of Aunt Katy’s death. I know you miss her and feel very lonely. That is only natural but I think as time goes on you will realize it the [sic] best for al concerned.
I know your health is so poor and Al’s is too and the responsibility of someone else is at times almost more than one can take care of. Aunt Katy had a long life and I imagine was rather tired of it all by now. I know Mother said she was very worn out with the battle at the time of her last illness and seemed to be anxious to have the end come. Of course she battled with heart trouble for years and had to be so careful and was practically house bound for the last three years.
I am sorry you are feeling so badly and unable to get out. I think if you could go out and mingle with your friends it would help you a lot at this time. At least it takes your mind off your loss.
I have to get back to work but I wanted to drop you a note to let you know I was thinking of you.
