On 31 July 1875, a child was born to Hannah Moore (maiden name McCordick), born in Ireland, and Robert Moore, a carpenter, born in Ireland. The child was born at 278 Durham Street in Baltimore City, Maryland, the fifth child of Hannah Moore. (At this time, birth certificates did not record the name of the child.) Sometime between 1894 and 1900, Christopher Moore and “Mrs. Moore” (who was almost certainly his mother, Hannah Moore) were admitted as members of Martin Luther Evangelical Church. Christopher Moore was not listed in the 1895 Baltimore City Directory.

In 1907, Christopher Moore took communion at Martin Luther Evangelical Church in Baltimore City, Maryland. There are no further appearances of his name, but records after 1911 appear to be incomplete. A marginal note written after 1922 states, “Left”. On 29 December 1939, Christopher George Moore died at 522 N. Belnord Avenue in Baltimore City, Maryland. He had resided in Baltimore City throughout his lifetime; his usual place of residence was 522 N. Belnord Avenue. He was not a veteran and did not have a Social Security number. He was male, white, married. Wife was Elizabeth, age 56. He was born 10 July 1875 in Baltimore CIty and died aged 64 years, 5 months, 19 days. He was retired. Father was Robert Moore, born in New York; mother was Hannah McCordick, born in Ireland. Informant was Elizabeth Moore of 522 N. Belnord Avenue. Buried on 2 January 1940 at Holy Redeemer on Belair Road; funeral director was Martin Dippel of 378 Ann Street. He was attended by his physician from 10 February 1939 until 28 December 1939; last seen on 28 December 1939. Immediate cause of death was terminal bronchial pneumonia, duration 2 days. Other condition was endocarditis and probable carcinoma [specifically what is illegible]. [Physician’s signature not legible.] [Baltimore City, Maryland, Certificate of Death F-64379.]

A death notice in The Sun (Baltimore) stated:
MOORE.–On December 29, 1939, CHRISTOPHER, beloved husband of Elizabeth Moore (nee Schwarzkopf). Funeral from his home, 522 North Belnord avenue, on Tuesday at 8:30. Requiem Mass at St. Elizabeth’s Church at 9 o’clock. Interment in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. [The Sun (Baltimore), 30 December 1939, page 17; 31 December 1939, page 9; 1 January 1940, page 12. The Evening Sun (Baltimore), 30 December 1939, page 11.]
