W. A. Brizendine Dies At McGuire Hospital
Walter Alfred Brizendine, 69, waterman and boat captain died Wednesday at McGuire Hospital, Richmond. A lifelong resident of Essex County he was a veteran of World War I and a member of Glebe Landing Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister Mrs. Mary Sadler and several nieces and nephews. ¶Graveside rites were held Friday afternoon at 3 P. M. by the pastor, Rev. T. O. Herndon. Pallbearers were Messers. Burnley Kirk, W. A. Croxton, Larkin Johnson, Franklin Mitchell, Arthur Hale and Robert L. Elliott.
