Thomas Boughan is mentioned in the will of his father James Boughan. He and his brother Ben were the two youngest sons. He received land in King and Queen County, Virginia by the name of “ffrench mans Neck”. The will is dated 21 November 1721 and was probated 19 June 1722. Since Thomas Boughan was not listed in the will of his grandfather James (unlike his brothers John and James), he was probably born between 1711 and 1722.
