Suckey Boughan received a bequest in the 1742/1743 will of her godfather Thomas Starke. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 6, pages 428–429.]
Suca Boughan, daughter of Augt Boughan, was mentioned in the 10 October 1743 will of William Pickett. He bequeathed to her a Negro named Doll. The will was proved on 20 December 1743. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 7, pages 65–67.]
On 12 February 1755, a Sukey Boughan witnesed a tripartite agreement between John Smelt of the first part, Anna Waring of the second part, and Francis and Thomas Waring of the third part. [Essex County, Virginia, Deed Book 27, pages 129–132.]
An appraisal of the negroes of the estate of Augustine Boughan Decd. was made on 14 January 1757 by James Garnett, Jno Rouzee, Wm Boulware. Took out one third value for the widow and ballance in 6 parts & set apart for William Brooke who married sukey a daughter the following negroes James and Rachel. Recorded 18 January 1757. On 17 March 1780, a deed was made out between Andrew Crawford of Westmoreland County, who was husband to Susannah, daughter of Augustine and Hannah Boughan, Hannah Boughan being the daughter of James Griffing the elder deceased (and Andrew having had a daughter Nelly by Susannah); John Chamberlain Junr of Essex County, son of John Chamberline and Ann; Griffing Boughan of Essex County, son of Augustine and Hannah Boughan; John Meredith of King and Queen County, husband of Mary, daughter of Augustine and Hannah Boughan; Richard Lowry of Spotsylvania County, husband of Betty, daughter of Augustine and Hannah Boughan; John Tankersley of Spotsylvania County, husband of Suky, who was a daughter of Sucky, who was a daughter of Augustine and Hannah Boughan; John Edmondson of Essex County, for account of his daughter Judith by the said Hannah; and Ralph Meredith of King and Queen County, husband of Margaret, daughter of Augustine and Hannah Boughan, all of the first part. They sell to Archibald Ritchie of Essex County 211 acres in Essex County for 5 shillings to each, this being land previously owned by James Griffing. Recorded 16 October 1780.
