Henry Kopp married Mary K. Mahr on 28 June 1874. Both lived in Baltimore. He was 23, white, single, a cigar-maker; she was 20, white, single. The marriage license was issued 16 June 1874 and filed on 18 November 1874. The minister was L. D. Maier. A death certificate provides the following information: Henry Kopp. Died 8 July 1890. Ward 2. Age 37, white, married. Occupation: Bottler. Born in Baltimore, live there lifetime. Died at 429 S. Anna. Primary cause: Tubercular Pneumonia. Second: Exhaustion. Duration: 4 months. Buried at Mount Carmel on July 10. Attending physician: F C Bressler MD. [Hall of Records, Annapolis, Maryland, microfilm (Baltimore City Deaths), permit number A28949.]

A death notice from The Sun (Baltimore) stated: KOPP.—On July 8, 1890, HENRY KOPP, aged 36 years, beloved husband of Mary Kopp.
