“Mr. Worth S. Ray states that the wife of Robert Daniel was Sarah Taft, widow, nee Sarah Dillard, and that she had a brother, George Dillard. Mr. Charles B. Heinemann states that the wife of Robert Daniel was Sarah Mickelborough. The will of Robert Daniel was dated April 27, 1781; proved September 23, 1782; recorded in Will Book 1675-1798, Part 2, page 460, Middlesex County, Virginia. It mentions son, Travers Daniel; son, Robert; daughter, Mary. Wife, Sarah - executor. Witnesses: Robert Daniel and Robt. McTyre.”
