“In 1750 Charles Daniel and wife, Jane, deeded land to Andrew Smith. This land formerly belonged to James Daniel, the father of Charles Daniel. On July 16, 1767, he deeded land in Louisa County, Virginia to John Daniel. June 13, 1794, he deeded land to Peter Mickelborough Daniel, his grandson, in Louisa County. In November 1796, he deeded land to his daughter, Jane Daniel Montague, in Louisa County. On August 10, 1736, Charles Daniel reported the death of Jane Mickelborough, his mother-in-law.”
