On 1 June 1747, Henry Mickleburrough witnessed a deed from William Davis and Betty his wife to John Taylor. Signed Henry his H mark Mickleburrough. [Middlesex County, Virginia, Deeds Etc. 1687–1750, item #76.]

In the name of God Amen I Henry Mickelborough of the County of Middlesex being of sound sense and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
Imprimus my Will and desire is that all my Lawfull Debts and funeral Expenses be first Paid.
Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Batchelder the following Slaves Vizt moll anakey and Charles to her and her heirs forever the sd slaves in possession of the sd daughter.
Item I give to my Grand Children John, Henry Robert frances and nancy Children of my son Edmond Decd the following Slaves Vizt newman James orvile to be Equally divided among them and their heirs forever.
Item I give to my Son Henry Mickelborough the following Slaves Vizt sarah hanah Glasgow the sd Slaves now in possession of sd Son Except Glasgow to him and his heirs forever I also give him one bed and furniture to him and his heirs forever.
Item I give unto my Grand Children Elizabeth Henry James lewis and mountague Children of my Son James Decd. the following Slave Cupit also one County Striffeket Valued at forty Pounds To them and their heirs forever to be Equally Divided between them.
Item I give to my daughter margaret Street the following Slaves Vizt maryan penny Jane lewis James Tom Doll Judah & billey to her and her heirs forever the sd slaves in possession of my son in law Richd. Street Except billey
Item I give to my daughter mary daniel the following Slaves Vizt sam lucy beck Phill george and Robin to her and her heirs forever the said slave in possession of my son in law Christopher Daniel Except Robin.
Item I lend to my daughter Susaner Tuggle the following Slaves Vizt Phill doll frank Abner Jack Gavin[?] & alec and at her death I give the sd Slave to be Equally Divided among all her children to them and their heirs forever also I give to my sd Daughter one Cow & Calf the above Slaves now in possesision of my son in law Nickols Tuggle Except frank.
Item I lend unto my daughter Sarah Cloudas during life the following Slaves Vizt lewis Ave Bety Mathen Jane & James in case She will maintain her Children out of the Profits of them but if she Refues to maintain the Children that she had by Robert Daniel my desire is that the said Slaves may be hier out and the money aplied to maintain ye sd Children till her Death & then I give ym to be Equally Divided among all her children to them and their heirs forever the negro now in possesion of my son in law Abner Cloudas
Item I give to my daughter Jane Young the following Slaves Vizt Kingston Betty Juda fanney & and one bed and furniture and one Walnut Table to her and her heirs forever the sd Slave now in possession of my son in law Wm Young Except Kingston
Item I give to my Grand son Henry Street one Cow and Calf to him & his heirs forever further my Will and desire is that if the above Slaves should Increase before my death that the Increase should be the property of the legatees to whom they belong to ym and their heirs forever
Item I give to my Grand son John mickelboroug son of my Son Edmond Decd my son Henry mickelboroug my daughter Elisabeth Batchelder my Grand son Henry mickelboroug son my my son James Decd my son in law Richd Street my Son in law Christopher Daniel my son in law Nicolas Tuggle my son in Law Abner Cloudas my son in Law Wm Young all my part of them Slaves given to me by my fathers Will after the death of Robert mikelboroug to be Equally divided between Provided they or their heirs give Bond and security to pay an Equal Part of the Expenses that will arise in procuring the same but In case any neglect or rifuse to Bear a Part then their Part to be divided among them that do so Joyn to them and their heirs forever
Item the Rest of my Estate not mentioned in my Will I Give to be Equally Divided among the legatees only alowing Each family of Grand Children one share which share to be Equally divided among the seperate familes of Chidren to them and their heirs forever
Lastly I Constitute and appoint Richd Street and Wm Young Executors of this my last will and testament in testimoney of which I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty fourth day of December 1782.

On 23 June 1783, presented in court by Richard Street, proved by Charles Curtis and Thomas Willis, and a certificate granted to the executor in order to his obtaining probate, with leave for the other executor to qualify.
