On 3 September 1751, a Robt Daniel witnessed a deed from Samuel Batchelder and Elizabeth his wife to Henry Batchelder. [Middlesex County, Virginia, Deeds Etc. 1687–1750, item 54.]
On 1 April 1755, “Robert Daniel is appointed surveyor of the Road leading from Gryme’s Mill (and Massey Yarrington is discharged) It is therefore ordered that the said Robert with the usual Titheables belonging thereto do keep the same in repair according to Law” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 247.]
On 1 April 1755, Robert Daniel is identified as a merchant in a suit against Pleasant Wakefield. [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 248.]
On 4 September 1755, “Sarah Blake orphan of John Blake decd dame into Court & chose Robert Daniel her Guardian & thereupon the said Robert together with Thos Price gent his security entered into Bond according to Law, & in open Court acknowledged the sd Bond to be their act & Deed which is thereupon ordered to be recorded” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 232.]

On 3 May 1757, “Robert Daniel gent is appointed to take the List of Tithables in the middle precinct of this County” [Middlesex County, Orders 1752–1758, page 422.]
On 2 November 1757, “Robert Daniel gent. pursuant to a Commission from under the hand of the Honorable Robert Dinwiddie Esqr his majesties Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of this Colony appointing him Captain of a Company of Souldiers in this County took the oaths prescribed by Law and made and subscribed the Declaration & Test” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 481.]

It mentions wife, Lucy; daughter, Ann Yates - land in Orange County; grandson, Bartholomew Yates when 21; son, Beaverly Daniel to get lots in town of Urbanna, tobacco warehouse and ordinary and land in Glouster County; son, Robert land in Gloucester and in Middlesex and ferry at the forks; friend, George Daniel. Executors: Wife, George Daniel and Berley Daniel. Witnesses: Sarah Roane, Ann Curry, Rachel Murray, and Ludwick James.”
