Data from Middlesex, Virginia, Daniel Descendants, by Robert Neville Mann and Cathrine Cleek Mann of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, published by Whitener’s Lettershop of Rome, Georgia, in 1959. They give his birthyear as 1758, but this is probably incorrectly derived from the Parish Register.

“His will was dated April 5, 1775; proved April 24, 1775; recorded in Will Book 1675-1798, Part 2, page 395, Middlesex County, Virginia. It mentions mother, Betty Kemp; brother, Robert Daniel; sister, Rachel Price; nephew, Nelson Daniel; brother, George Daniel; brother, Robert Daniel. Esecutors: George and Robert Daniel. Witnesses: Wm. C. Hewning, Wm. Meacham.” See page 19.
