On 3 September 1751, a Robt Daniel witnessed a deed from Samuel Batchelder and Elizabeth his wife to Henry Batchelder. [Middlesex County, Virginia, Deeds Etc. 1687–1750, item 54.]
“Robert Daniel jr. & Pene Lee married Decr 29th 1768.” [The Parish Register of Christ Church, Middlesex County, Va. from 1653 to 1812, Baltimore, Maryland: Clearfield Company Reprints and Remainders, 1990, page 198.]
On 4 February 1755, “Robert Daniel jr Produced a Commission under the hand of the Honourable Robert Dinwiddie Esqr his Majesties Lieutenant Governor & Commander in Cheif of this Colony of Virginia appointing him Lieutenant of the Troop under the Command of Capt Henry Washington and took the oaths to the Goverment & Subscribed the Test” [Middlesex County, Virginia, Orders 1752–1758, page 229.]

It mentions wife, Penney; son, Henry; son, Robert; son, Beverley; two youngest sons, Garrett and George; children, Henry, Robert, Beverley, Garrett, George, Jean and Betty Daniel all under age. Executors: Wife and Nelson Daniel, and Charles Sea. Witnesses: Reuben Shelton, John Sears, and Thomas ____?.”
