Son James all land, etc. Four daughters Ann Games, Elizabeth Games, Catharine Games, Pressellar Games. Written 21 December 1811. Signed Thomas his x mark Games. Witnesses: Major J B Turner, Jesse Boughan, Hapy [sic] her x mark Gatewood, Hapy [sic] Gatewood. Proved 19 April 1813. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 17, page 454.]

In an undated petition, oratrices Catharine Games and Pressellar Games complained that Thomas Games their father died in ____ testate leaving sons James and John and four daughters Ann, Elizabeth and your oratrices. That Ann died in ____ intestate. Elizabeth has also died. James’s wife is Nancy. James and Nancy conveyed their share of Thomas Games’s estate to Thomas Pilcher who is now deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Box Chancery No. 44, item 44-D-36.]
