Elizabeth was mentioned in the 20 February 1733 will of her husband Thomas Garnett. She was to receive use of his estate during her life or widowhood and was named executrix. She swore as to the authenticity of the will on 20 December 1748. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 7, pages 60–61.]
