Henry Pagett was mentioned in the 18 July 1722 will of his father Edmund Pagitt. Henry was to receive “the plantation where I now live on & all the Land thereunto belonging”. Henry and his sister Elizabeth were to receive their mother’s portion of the estate after her death. Henry was also designated, with his mother Elizabeth, as an executor of the will. The will was presented by Henry and Elizabeth in court 20 November 1722 and proved by the witnesses. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 4, pages 2–3.]
On 20 November 1722, Elizabeth Paget, Henry Paget, Ephraim Paget and John Munday were bound £200 sterling for Eliza Paget’s and Henry Paget’s execution of the will of Edmond Paget. On 15 January 1722/23, an inventory and appraisal of the estate of Edmund Paget was returned to court by Wm Winston, Tho: Sthreshly Junr and Charles Waller, also signed by Elisabeth her E mark Paget and Henry his HP mark Paget. On 17 May 1737, Henry Pagett, James Wall and William Arxen[?] were bound £100 sterling for Henry Pagett’s administration of the goods, chattles and credits of Abraham Pagett deceased.
