On 18 December 1753, Thomas Wiatt of Spotsilvania County and Suckey his wife sold land to a Thomas Edmondson of Essex County, Southfarnham Parish. For £412 current money of Virginia, two tracts of land. The first is on the north side of Piscataway whereon Mr. John Edmondson father of the said Suckey lived, amounting to 210 acres, land that John Edmondson bought of John Meggs in 1733. On 16 February 1756, a Thomas Edmondson Junior and Grifel his wife of the County of Essex and Parish of Southfarnham, Planter, sold to Drury Dobyns of the County of King William and Parish of Saint Davids, Planter. Lease and release. For 5 shillings/£50 current money, land Thomas now lives on, 100 acres more or less, bordering that of John Finney, James Webb, Robert Acors and John Brizendine. On 10 December 1756, William Jones and Ann his wife of the Parish of Christ Church and County of Middlesex sold to a Thomas Edmondson of the Parish of Southfarnham and County of Essex. For £40, a parcel on the northwest side of Piscattaway Creek inherited from his father Capt James Jones, amounting to 160 acres more or less. Signed William Jones, Ann her x mark Jones. On 22 January 1757, Henry Purkins Taylor and Sarah his wife of the Parish of Southfarnham and County of Essex sold to a Thomas Edmondson of the same. For £15 current money, land on the south side of Piscattaway Creek granted to Daniel Taylar my Father by Thomas Edmondson and Constant his wife on 17 May 1729, amounting to 50 acres. Thomas Edmondson was mentioned in the 4 January 1774 of his brother, William Edmondson. To loving wife estate and after her death the land upon Daingerfield’s Mill Swamp is to be sold and money divided amongst my three brothers Phill, James, Thomas and my sister Judith Mann.
