Documentation
On 16 October 1664, Edmond Mickelborough of Lancaster County, Virginia, sold 200 acres of land to Moses Buffery. Later, on 1 November 1665, 50 acres were deeded back by Edmund to Beffery, and the presumption is that this was to secure the consent of Buffery’s wife, Eliza, to the sale of the 200 acres.
