Benjamin Dunn was mentioned in the 17 April 1778 will of his father Benjamin Dunn. “I give my land & plantation to be Equilly Divided amongst my three sons Benjamin Dunn Dickinson Dunn and Antoney Crow Dunn to them and their heirs forever … Item I give to my son Benjamin Dunn one Cow and one Iron pot to him & his heirs forever … the Rest of my Estate after the payment of my Just Debts I give to be Equally Divided amongst all my living Children to them and their heirs forever. Lastly I Constitute & appoint Benja. Dunn and Dickinson my Executors to this my last will given under my hand & Seal this 17th of April 1778.” The will was proved on 18 October 1779. Benjamin was mentioned in the 1 March 1785 will of his brother Philip Dunn, proved 21 March 1785. 4thly all the remainder of my Estate thats not all ready disposed of, I give to be equally divided between Benja. & Dickerson Dunn, to the them [sic] & their heirs for ever except my best gun, I give to Anthony C.
