Judith was mentioned in the 17 April 1778 will of her father Benjamin Dunn. “I give to my Daughter Judath Crow one feather bed she has now in her possession the Rest of my Estate after the payment of my Just Debts I give to be Equally Divided amongst all my living Children to them and their heirs forever.” The will was proved on 18 October 1779. On 20 February 1815, Anthony D. Crow and John Browne were bound in the penalty of $300 for Anthony D. Crow’s administration of the goods, chattels and credits of Judith Crow, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, pages 112–113.]
The estate of Judith Crow, deceased, in account with Anthony D. Crow, administrator, from 1813 to 1817 was settled on 21 March 1817 by Samuel Crittenden, Edmund F. Noel, John Games and Mourning Johnston. Mentions “John Crow a legatee”. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, page 388.]
