Elizabeth Davis was to receive a provision in the 6 January 1759 will of John Griggs of Essex County. My executors to pay “Elizabeth Davis’s fines if She lives to bring the Child she is with Child with.” and £10 to maintain the child. The will was proved 16 January 1759.
