A 14 August 1950 obituary of Charles’s mother stated that Charles resided in New York.
A death notice in The Baltimore Sun stated:
SCHNEIDER.—On September 3, 1953, CHARLES J., of New York city, beloved son of the late Charles J. and Barbara Schneider, of Baltimore. He is survived by Mrs. Katherine Stanton, Edward and Fred Schneider, of Chattanooga, Tenn.
