On 29 April 1813, a settlement and apportionment of the estate of Nathaniel S. Crow, deceased, in account with John E. Crow, administrator, was made by W. Fisher, Lewis Dix, and James Allen Sr., with equal distributions to Wm Ball & Wife, John E. Crow, John Crow & Wife, Fielding S. Crow, Andrew Allen & Wife, St. Albion Crow, and Lewis Gatewood & Wife. On 21 February 1815, St. Albion Crow, Field S. Crow and Humphrey Hall were bound in the penalty of $3,000 for St. Albion Crow’s administration of the goods, chattels and credits of Amanda Crow, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 18, page 111.]
The will of St. Albion Crow of the County of Essex was dated 18 August 1813. To brother Fielding S. Crow all estate, he to be executor. Signed St. Albion Crow. On 30 September 1830, Fielding S. Crow and William Burke were bound in the penalty of $1,200 for Fielding S. Crow’s executorship of the estate of St. Albion Crow, deceased. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 150–151.]
