Robert Wright was mentioned in the 16 May 1830 will of his brother, Benjamin Wright, proved 15 November 1830. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 22, pages 163–164.]

On 18 May 1835, William Wright, Robert M Dairs and Robert Wright were bound in the penalty of $200 for William Wright’s administration of the estate of Alexander Houston. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 23, page 341.]

Robert Wright was named an executor of the 19 November 1835 will of William Taylor, but declined the position in court on 20 June 1836. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 24, pages 47–48.]
