Robert William Waring was mentioned in the 24 March 1795 will of his father, Thomas Robinson Waring, proved on 21 September 1795. Lend to beloved wife my whole Estate during her life, my children to be maintained and educated by her out of the profitts of the said Estate. At her death, estate to be devided in the following manner. To son John Upshaw Waring and my son Robert William Waring the whole of the tract of land I live on to be equally devided between them. The whole of the residue of my estate to be equally devided between my two sons and my daughter, now an infant intended to be baptized by the name of Elizabeth Matilda.
