Mary Lindsay Andrews, wife of Robert P. Andrews, was mentioned in the 22 February 1835 will of her father, Thomas O’Neale, proved 16 March 1835. [Essex County, Virginia, Will Book 23, page 319–320.]

On 22 August 1856, Mary L. Andrews, John M. Harper and Sarah F. his wife, Thomas M. Burke and Mary E. his wife, and Robert H. Andrews of the one part sold to William P. McKenney of the other part. For $2,800, all the balance of a tract of land which was conveyed to the late Robert P. Andrews by William R. Sisson and Ann E. his wife by deed of 1 July 1829 (after deducting a lot of two acres sold by the said Robert P. Andrews to Thomas Parker), by survey about 80 acres. In Essex County, Virginia, justices certify as to the consent of Sarah F. Harper and Mary E. Burke. [Westmoreland County, Virginia, Deeds and Wills 35, pages 408–409.]

On 6 January 1857, Mary L. Andrews, John Newton Harper and Sarah F. his wife, and Thomas M. Burke and Mary E. his wife of the first part sold to Robert H. Andrews of the other part. For $900, land of the late Robert P. Andrews containing 75-1/2 acres which was conveyed to Robert P. Andrews by Henry Marks and Ann his wife on 27 December 1837, and also all their interest in a certain tract of land adjoining the aforesaid.
